Venting

I’m fuming a little at the moment…It’s opinionated, you’ve been warned.
Had a little argument with someone and it’s bothering me a little still. When I see something I disagree on, most of the time I will say something. That’s the kind of person I am. Ask my friends, ask my family (though I think my family are just starting to get a taste of it). So when I point something out I see as ‘wrong’ I don’t expect EVERYONE to accept it. I can’t stand people who think they’re ALWAYS right. It annoys me to death that people expect everyone else to accept their views yet they don’t listen to what others have to say. I can accept being wrong, but to be told I’m wrong because of my values and beliefs is unacceptable. We all have our values and beliefs and ethics. Those are things I will not comprimise on.
Also, my beliefs in my religion are MY beliefs. I don’t force my religious beliefs on other people but when people start picking on them it pisses me off because when I try to explain that their views about it are misguided due to misinterpretation of facts they turn a deaf ear. How do you make someone understand something when they don’t wanna listen? It’s impossible. They HEAR you but they aren’t exactly LISTENING. Okay, so you’re thinking “Then there’s no need to make them understand”. Yes you’re right but if that person KEEPS picking on your beliefs in front of you, I can’t help but have to stand up for my beliefs because they’re important to me.
Most people wouldn’t see me as someone who’s deep and whatnot. I have no problem with that. But there are times when such deep thoughts and feelings arise in a conversation. I put in my two cents worth and I get ridiculed? Who won’t get pissed in that situation? BLEH BLEH BLEH BLEH BLEH BLEH BLEH BLEH BLEH!!! Yes I’m being childish, that’s me…take it or leave it. Enough said.
