Bangkok, here I come!

I’m off to Bangkok tomorrow morning! Will be taking the earliest flight to KL to catch the connecting flight to Bangkok.
I’m glad the battery for my digital camera came in time before I leave. I asked Rob to get me the lithium batteries for my Olympus camera and send it over. It costs like RM210 for one here! He got 2 for USD10 or something, but they are generic brands but who cares?! As long as they work. This brand even has more mAh than the one that came with my camera. What’s mAh, you ask? I asked Rob the same question too. Apparently, the higher the mAh, the longer the battery lasts. 😀 In essence, it means MORE pictures for me to take, but I don’t have enough memory lah. Heh.
I’ve been looking up domestic flights in the US and prices go up and down like a yoyo. Like last night, I checked American Airlines and they had Chicago O’Hare to Atlanta for USD69. I checked again this afternoon and it’s at USD129!!!!!!! *growl* I checked other airlines and they are all roughly the same price! It’s a conspiracy I tell you!!! The airlines are conspiring against Rob and I to make it hard for us to book flights! Oh wait, my New York Laguardia to Chicago Midway is already booked and paid for. Cost like USD79 which isn’t bad. Heh =D I’m flying to Chicago from NY on December 18th to see my honey!!! YAY!!! I can’t wait!!!
USD129 may not seem like a high price in terms of USD but in conversion to MYR, I’m going to be broke before even setting foot in US soil. 🙁 *sigh* I must not give up, must keep searching for the best deals.
Anyway, I better stop rambling. I still need to do some packing. I hate packing last minute. I always end up forgetting something.
I’ll be back on Saturday at midnight which is technically Sunday. Will blog then!
