Sun halo piccies and stuff (Oh how intellectual I sound)
July 3, 2007
Ok I crawled out of the rock.
So here are a couple pictures of the sun halo as promised. Like I said, the pictures aren’t that good because the view of it wasn’t so clear from where I was and the sun was blocked by clouds. The rainbow colored ring around the sun was faint but enough to be noticed with the naked eye.
Over the weekend, my dad took my mom and I to Seniawan (spelling?) for their so-called famous meatball soup. It was like a good 40-45 minutes drive there.
We stopped by a really old town after brunch which I have no clue what the name is. It looked so deserted. My dad said the shops were over 40 years old. He used to go there as a kid because he had relatives who stayed in the shophouses.
Just a couple of cars along the shops
We walked around for a while and realized there was a river along the shops. I had a pleasant surprised when I saw…
GEESE (!) swimming around in the river. Hmmm aren’t they afraid of the crocodiles eating them up?
I love the picture above. I think it’s cute how the geese swim in a line and the “alpha” goose swims next to the queue. How organized of them. Hahahaha. If you noticed the dark brown blackish goose at the back of the line, it’s actually a duck. Rob’s exact words when he saw this picture: “Yeah that’s not racist at all. Leave the black behind.” LOL Yep, leave it to Rob to come up with smartass comments like that.
I know that geese tend to chase people so I kept my distance and used my lovely camera’s 12X digital zoom to capture some shots. (I love my camera!)
Lounging around (if you call it that)
The geese starts to “berlagak” (show off)
The head of the pack was showing me who’s boss. It has the look of “What YOU looking at?”
On the way back, I noticed the mountain. Sadly I have no idea which mountain this is. *hangs head down in shame* Anyway, for some reason I think it looks like a face, like the side angle of someone’s face while laying down.
Doesn’t it?
Right? Or am I hallucinating (AGAIN)?
